FIRST LESSON

What is a first lesson like?

• Get to know you

• What drew you to the trombone?

• Where do you want to go with the trombone? For example:

  • Play professionally someday

  • Play in high school/college ensembles

  • Learning for fun/as a hobby

• You play!

• I’ll play!

• Let’s play together

• Set some goals for our time together

• We’ll always end with some practice assignments for next week

EXPECTATIONS

As a student, I expect you to be prepared, respectful, and excited to play. You can expect the same from me. I will bring an enthusiasm for problem solving and all things trombone. I’ll even throw in a cheesy joke now and then. If this sounds good to you, slide over to my contact page!
